2016-Dec.3rd: I've barely been studying Japanese or keeping up with WaniKani; my life is just really busy now compared to
earlier. I use WaniKani about once per week, and I only do like 10 or 20 reviews, so I'll never catch up. -.-
Seeing what happens within the next 2 months is my top priority, my life is changing for the better. :)
I'm working a lot (a lot in my opinion, which is only around 12 - 20 hours per week, but I work 5 days in a row
this week with 1 day off in between), and I have a girlfriend; we'll be meeting for the first time in January.
I hope to get back into using WaniKani every day or two starting in mid-January or later, I want to get to Level 7
because it's a shorter level than levels 5 and 6. I've been on Level 6 for over 100 days I think, I want my average
to be 46 days or less.
2016-Aug.17th: I've been slacking despite saying to myself that I would do Level 6 at a faster pace. -.- Motivation is hard.
I updated my radicals and Kanji. Life is busy, and is soon going to be even more busy.
2016-Aug.2nd: I reached Level 6 on WaniKani a couple days ago, yay!
2016-Jul.2nd: I BURNED MY FIRST 12 KANJI TODAY! :D Now there are gold kanji on my kanji wallpaper! I'm super happy!
2016-Jun.28th: I BURNED MY FIRST RADICALS YESTERDAY! :D I was so shocked when "Burn" popped up.
2016-Jun.14th: MADE IT TO LEVEL 5! :D
2016-May 10th: Yesterday, I bought a 1 month subscription on WaniKani so I can learn more Japanese instead of idling until
I (or my parents) can afford the 1 year subscription.
2016-Apr.26th: I will be purchasing a 1-year subscription on WaniKani (Japanese learning site) and
advancing to Level 4 in a few weeks. Until then, I have to just review stuff and learn from Genki,
my "dictionary" of Japanese particles, and a Youtube playlist. I would be on Level 4 already if I could
afford it (or if my parents could).
2016-Apr.13th: I will be purchasing a 1-year subscription on WaniKani (Japanese learning site) and
advancing to Level 4 once I get my G1 driver's license and a job (soon). It will be bought
by my parents as an early Birthday gift. I hope to visit Japan for 2 weeks in Summer 2017,
so most of what I make from a job will be saved for that trip.
2016-Apr.12th: A few days ago, I learned how to use "have", "need", and "want" in Japanese. I also learned more about
te-form, masu-form, Ichidan verbs, and Godan verbs.
2016-Apr.1st: I got my Japanese particle dictionary in the mail. Hopefully I can get better with particles and grammar now. :)
I'd soon like to be able to form very basic sentences in Japanese (and to reply to basic Japanese questions).
2016-Mar.1st: I just read and completely understood my first Japanese sentence! (a random sample sentence) :)
It was この本はあなたのですか。 which I guessed "Is this book yours?" and the answer was
"Does this book belong to you?". In Romaji (Roman letters) it would be
Kono hon wa anata no desu ka (the wa is ha but pronounced wa in this case, and ka is basically a question mark).
WaniKani Level: 6 I also use a playlist on Youtube for verbs and conjugation, and I use a book called
